July 16-18/10 International Jazz Festival  This is the opening weekend of the Beaches Jazz Festival. More than 30 acts performing on three stages at the Woodbine Park Concerts. Jazz Streetfest takes place July 22- 24/10  50 bands entertain along Queen Street East from Woodbine to Beech Avenue.  The Jazz continues on the  Main Stage at Kew Gardens:  July 24 and 25th. leading Canadian and International performers entertain.  www.beachesjazz.com

Beaches Library: 2161 Queen Street East, Book Club meets the first Thursday of every month at 7:00 p.m.

Beaches Speeches Toastmasters: Learn the art of public speaking and leadership. Group meets at Community Centre 55 Sundays 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
